Local Orders (Pick-up/Delivery)

Payments - We do require payment in full before we will make any items. Online Store items must be paid at the time of ordering. Custom Cakes under $150 must be paid in full to order; over $150 require a 50% deposit and remainder is due 2 weeks prior. Wedding Cakes require a $100 retainer fee and remainder is due 30 days prior. All major credit cards are accepted and checks only for wedding cakes (with limitations).

Cancellation - If for any reason you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible to maximize your refund. We will fully refund your order if notice of cancellation is received at least 5 days before event/pick-up/delivery date. No refund will be given if cancelled within 5 days of pick-up/delivery.

Order Changes - Changes to your order cannot be made within 5 days of pickup/delivery, in most cases.

Colors - Due to the limitation of edible coloring options and sheer variety of color shades, we cannot guarantee an exact color match for your items. For example, what is considered to be 'gold', 'dark pink', & 'royal blue', etc. may vary from person to person. We try to match colors the best we can, however, sometimes our 'light pink' is a different shade than another person's may be. Undesired color shades are not a valid reason for refund. Please refer to an image or URL if there is a specific shade you need us to match and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Returns - Only uneaten items, in original condition/packaging, are eligible for return.

Refunds When order is accepted at pick-up by you (or your designated representative) or someone at your destination (for deliveries), it is considered fulfilled. All complaints must be made within 24 hours of receipt of order to be honored. No refund for consumed items. Refunds or store credit may be given at owner's discretion, per individual situation.

 

Online Orders (Shipped)

UPDATE: We are not currently shipping any Online Store orders. However, we will keep this section up for when we do, at a later date.

Cancellation - Orders may be canceled until items have shipped. Upon shipping, order must be returned to Storybook Bakery, in original packaging, to qualify for a full refund. Partial refunds may be given, depending on portion of order that is returned.

Order Changes - Changes to orders can be made within 24 hours of order being placed for immediate ship items. After that, items go into production and alterations may not be possible. For orders with a later delivery/event date, changes can be made up to 1 week prior to your event/delivery date.

Returns - Orders may be returned to the bakery for any reason. Full refunds will be given for items only if in original packaging. If error was made on our part (wrong item, quantity, flavor), we will provide a shipping label for return. If order is correct and customer opts to return, the customer is responsible for return shipping cost. (Incorrect color shades do not qualify as errors on our part. See colors section below for clarification.)

Refunds - Due to the edible and perishable nature of our products, we do not give refunds for consumed items. If you eat half of the order and return the rest, you will only receive a refund for returned items, in original packaging.
